Metaverse Magna is a gaming DAO focused on publishing mobile games in frontier markets and creating developer tools to enable web3 business models for game creators. It began as a gaming guild offering play-to-earn scholarships and has scaled to a 100,000-member-strong ecosystem that includes 2,000+ gamers, 10,000 Telegram members and 20,000 Discord members. The guild initially provided scholarships to over 1,000 gamers, with the platform pitching potential earnings of up to $1,000 monthly to users. MVM is building a social gaming app called Hyper and is working on launching 10 Web 2.0 (mostly hypercasual) games including titles such as Candy Blast, Wordler, Kong Clumb and Electron Dash. It operates as an independent organization within the broader Nestcoin ecosystem and was incubated in partnership with multistrategy blockchain investment fund Old Fashion Research (OFR). The project says its mission is to build Africa’s largest gaming DAO and to provide gamers in emerging markets access to world-class opportunities.
