The unit targets precision jobs such as circuit-board assembly, component soldering, cable routing, and even niche tasks like processing snails for escargot. Rather than selling individual arms, the company delivers a transparent, turnkey “factory” that lets operators observe production in real time and re-train the robot within hours. MicroFactory reports “hundreds of preorders” for the commercial version and aims to produce about 1,000 robots in its first year—roughly three units per day—scaling output 10× annually thereafter.
