Mighty develops and markets a range of dairy-alternative products, initially built around pea-based milk and now expanded to oat milks, vegan protein powders, and ready-to-drink shakes. The company is focused on simplifying what it sees as an overcrowded plant-milk category in order to drive broader consumer adoption. Its upcoming proprietary fermentation process, scheduled to come online in January, is engineered to replicate the texture and viscosity of conventional dairy milk more closely than existing plant milks. Current distribution includes major UK grocers such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, and ASDA. Mighty’s founders, brothers Tom and Nick Watkins, aim to convert one million new consumers to plant milk by 2030 and believe half of traditional dairy consumption can be displaced by then. The firm positions its products as lower-carbon alternatives and frames category “democratisation” as core to its mission. To fund these goals, the company has secured fresh capital to accelerate EU expansion and scale its new manufacturing technology.
