Migrevention
Räägu tn 10b-1, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 10620, Estonia
Overview
Migrevention develops a digital headache clinic delivered via an app that offers a digital headache diary, remote treatment options, and tools for specialists to streamline assessment and care. The core team includes neurologists, psychologists and long-term migraine patients, and the company launched its first app component earlier this year and its digital headache diary in March 2021. Migrevention has begun clinical trials at Tartu University Hospital as it combines digital interventions with conventional treatment. The startup aims to certify the product as a digital medical device within the year. Its offering targets the large unmet need—more than 1 billion people suffer frequent migraines while only 1–4% receive adequate specialized care. The project has also received support from the Estonian–Norwegian cooperation programme “Green ICT.”
