Mila launched from a successful Kickstarter and makes smart air purifiers that offer a choice of filters and an array of onboard sensors. Its app reports PM1/PM2.5/PM10, humidity, temperature, TVOC, CO2 and CO and the device uses that data to modulate cleaning. The company emphasizes design and modular filters to differentiate in a crowded market. Mila plans to expand its product portfolio and is preparing to launch Mila Halo, a smart humidifier with a proprietary water filtration system that won a CES Innovation Award in 2022. The company says it will use new funding to hire, scale operations and grow distribution. Mila positions itself as a future “Home Health Operating System” targeting the $16 billion indoor air quality market.
