Unit 2.15 The Record Hall, 16-16a Baldwins Gardens, London, EC1N 7AE, United Kingdom
Overview
Founded in 2021 by entrepreneur Tom Raviv, Milliways produces plastic-free, plant-based chewing gum that is biodegradable, sugar-free, aspartame-free, non-GMO and sweetened with xylitol. The product line spans flavors such as Spearmint, Peppermint, Mighty Mint, Bubblemint, Strawberry and Watermelon, sold in 10-piece and 30-piece packs at suggested prices of $2.49 and $5.99, respectively. Having become one of the largest gum companies in the UK, the brand has expanded to more than 10,000 retail doors worldwide and over 2,000 U.S. stores including Sprouts, Meijer, Hy-Vee, Raley's and Fred Meyer. Recent SPINS data cites Milliways as the best-selling plastic-free gum brand in the U.S. natural channel. The company positions itself at the intersection of health and sustainability, addressing consumer concerns about microplastics in conventional gum. Proceeds from its latest funding will fuel U.S. marketing, retail distribution and inventory growth as Milliways accelerates its American expansion. To date, the company has raised $10 million in total funding.
