Millo Appliances has developed a quiet, smart blender that is cordless, portable and can be controlled via a smartphone. Its patented AirDrive magnetic engine makes the device roughly three times quieter than the average blender and allows blending simply by placing a cup on the base. The company was founded in late 2015 to reimagine nutrition through technology and design. After two years of research and a successful €100k Kickstarter, the team has secured further investment and is focused on bringing products to retail. Millo plans to unveil the product at London’s Exclusively Electrical show on June 11 and aims to launch in early 2020, starting in the UK and Europe. To date the company has raised a total of €1.5 million.
