Mimetrik is a Leeds, UK–based dental tech company founded in 2020. It has developed 3D‑scanning technology that uses machine learning to generate fully digitised images of patients’ dentition and facial structure. The company’s products combine software, hardware and mobile apps. Mimetrik is led by CEO Dr. Alyn Morgan alongside Dr. Cecilie Osnes and Professor David Wood, and is based in the University’s Nexus innovation hub. The company raised £2M in Seed funding and plans to use the proceeds to expand its team and deliver its first three products to market.
