Mimica builds AI-driven process-discovery software that automates RPA by learning patterns from employee clicks and keystrokes to generate process maps. Its first product, Mapper, creates process maps that traditionally take business analysts months to produce, effectively automating the process of automation. Since launching in 2020 it has worked with customers including Dell, AT&T, Hexaware, Experis and Ironbridge. The company says its software removes implementation bottlenecks for RPA platforms and accelerates bot development. Mimica targets a market estimated to be worth $107 billion by 2027. It was co-founded in 2017 by CEO Tuhin Chakraborty and CTO Raphael Holca-Lamarre, both with machine learning backgrounds. The company plans to use new funds to establish a U.S. sales team and further build out its product; competitors include FortressIQ, Skan, UiPath and Celonis.
