Mimong operates an app that matches hair designers and general consumers and connects designers with hair models, offering portfolio shoots, electronic portrait-rights contracts, 1:1 hair consulting, and portfolio management in a single app. Since launching about 2 years and 3 months ago, the platform has grown to 13,000 hair designers and 100,000 hair customers, totaling 110,000 registered users. It intermediates roughly 60,000 hair service matchings per month, records 70,000 new monthly reservations, averages 55,000 monthly users and 6,000 daily users. In August of last year it launched an in-app currency called '몽', which saw month-over-month growth of 314% in its second month and 181% in the following month, indicating accelerating monetization.
