Overview
MiNDERA has developed a proprietary micro-needle device that enables minimally invasive and targeted extraction of biomarkers from the skin without requiring a biopsy. Extracted biomarkers are eluted and analyzed by molecular techniques including PCR and next-generation sequencing to deliver a molecular profile of the sampled region. The company is pursuing research applications as well as diagnostic applications for skin cancer and other skin diseases. Led by CEO and co-founder Philippe Nore, MiNDERA plans to validate its micro-needle technology and prepare for product launches. The company recently closed a $1M seed financing to support validation work and the launch of its first research products. MiNDERA is based in South San Francisco, CA.
