Mindie is a Paris-based music video startup that lets users create, record and share 7-second videos backed by an iTunes track preview. The app launched in October of last year and is available on the App Store. It was co-founded by Stanislas Coppin, Clément Raffenoux, Simon Corsin and Grégoire Henrion. According to reports, the company raised $1.2m in funding. Backers named in coverage include SV Angel, David Tisch, Dave Morin, Slow Ventures, Lower Case Ventures, CrunchFund, Betaworks, Pete Cashmore, Troy Carter, Chris Howard, Cashmere Entertainment and some angels.
