Mindshapes is a UK-based developer of interactive learning and children's educational apps. Its flagship product, Magic Town, is a virtual world built around picture-book characters and incorporates licensed content from Hachette Group, Simon & Schuster and Penguin Group. Magic Town currently contains content from 70 popular picture books and the company aims to have 200 titles in the app by year-end. Mindshapes has published nine other apps since opening for business in 2010 and is preparing Language City, a language-learning game with social features aimed at 16–30 year-olds, with London first.
