Mingle Sport is a Utrecht-based sportstech startup whose app lets grassroots football teams track performance, share highlights, and manage their team. The app launched as a public beta in the Netherlands in summer 2022 and was used by thousands of teams during the season. After the initial launch the company opened the app to a global audience; it is now available in Europe, North America, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. The app is currently free to use and ad-free while the founders experiment with pricing mechanisms with clubs. Mingle Sport plans to introduce premium AI-powered features for coaches and players by 2024, including unique stats, benchmarking, and automatic video highlights. Founded in 2021, the team says it aims to let clubs own their content and data so they can create value from it.
