Miotify develops an online toolkit that helps developers and healthcare professionals build medical apps and navigate the key requirements needed for evidence in regulatory submissions. The system lets both developers and non-IT staff create apps within a guided framework and auto-generate evidence for inclusion in regulatory approval submissions. The company is completing a patent-pending system in collaboration with AstraZeneca’s Intelligent Pharmaceutical team. To fund that work, Miotify received a £555,000 grant from Innovate UK and has now raised additional capital. The recent financing will allow the company to finish development and advance its toolkit toward regulatory-grade outputs. The company is led by Sheena Macpherson, who consults to AstraZeneca on software-as-a-medical-device projects and previously led global business development for Vodafone’s mobile health business.
