miPic, founded by Carl Thomas, is a London-based provider of an online photo marketplace. The platform allows people to print, buy and sell their images as art, fashion and design products. Marketplace offerings include printed swimsuits, custom beach towels, printed T-shirts, tote bags, canvas prints, iPhone 7 cases and Galaxy S8 cases. The company raised £1.3m in seed funding. In conjunction with the funding, Michael Boocher of Sage Technologies joined miPic’s board. miPic intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and business reach.
