Mirabelle is positioned as an independent lender whose mission is to finance 'bien-vieillir' by offering prêt viager hypothécaire to senior homeowners. The company recently obtained regulatory approval from the ACPR as a financing company, backed by the Banque de France, clearing the way for commercial launch. To support that roll-out it raised €6M of equity from industrial and institutional investors in the finance, insurance and viager sectors. The firm is launching commercialisation of its reverse-mortgage product targeted at seniors who own property. The announcement did not disclose revenue, user metrics, founding year, location, or prior funding rounds.
