Overview
Miraex develops and manufactures photonic and quantum Micro Opto-Mechanical Systems (MOMS) sensors supported by advanced signal processing and proprietary machine-learning algorithms to detect anomalies in equipment. Its in-house sensors measure vibrations, pressure, temperature, electromagnetic fields, and radio waves and are designed for environments where standard electronic sensors fail. The company targets industrial customers in aerospace, Industry 4.0, and automotive sectors. Its technology platform also underpins quantum converter and transducer products aimed at enabling large-scale quantum networking and computing. Miraex is piloting its first qualified product and plans to deploy digital sensing solutions to first customers in spring 2021 while miniaturizing the solution for mass-production feasibility. The team secured CHF 150,000 from Venture Kick to accelerate implementation and scale production. The startup was founded in 2019 by Nicolas Abelé, Clément Javerzac, and Karel Dumon.
