Overview

MirrorWeb provides digital communications archiving, supervision, and surveillance software that enables organizations to capture, archive, and monitor communications across websites, mobile, email, instant messaging, and social media. Its unified communications supervision solution targets firms in the financial services sector, supporting customers from those registering with the SEC to global asset managers. The platform facilitates compliance with digital communication regulations and helps firms remain compliant and audit-ready. Founded in 2016 and led by CEO David Clee, the company is headquartered in Austin, TX. MirrorWeb intends to use the recently raised funds to accelerate product development and expand its customer success organization. MirrorWeb is a Manchester-based cloud SaaS platform that enables organisations to capture, archive and monitor website, email, instant messaging and social media content for digital oversight and regulatory compliance. Its solution is targeted at businesses operating in regulated markets where maintaining and preserving a digital footprint is imperative. The company has significantly increased its annual recurring revenues and expanded into the North American market, winning key contracts including the US Library of Congress. Other notable clients include Standard Life, Zurich, AXA, Invesco, HSBC and the BBC. MirrorWeb plans further US expansion, including opening an office in Austin, Texas, and increasing headcount, particularly in sales and marketing. The additional capital from Maven will support that expansion and continued growth. MirrorWeb offers a cloud-based SaaS platform for archiving website and social media communications, giving customers ownership of their digital records and the ability to replay content exactly as it appeared at a point in time. Its platform is used to help firms meet regulatory record-keeping requirements including FCA, FINRA, SEC and MiFID II, and to reduce resource costs by removing manual processes. MirrorWeb serves clients across private and public sectors, including Zurich, Tesco Bank, The National Archives (UK), UK Parliament and the BBC. The company leverages AWS technology to deliver its archiving solutions and has focused product development efforts in recent years. MirrorWeb says it has delivered significant revenue growth since Maven’s original 2018 investment through the NPIF Maven Equity Finance fund. The business plans to use the new funding to support growth and capitalise on market opportunities in both the UK and US.
