Mission Control
401 Pine, Saint Louis, Missouri, United States
Overview
Mission Control provides a platform that manages league schedules, validates scores, determines champions and serves as a community forum for league members and friends. The product targets organizations — community centers, college rec departments, gaming hubs and similar groups — that want to host casual, social esports leagues across various game titles. Gamers join Mission Control leagues for a casual social experience while organizations use the platform to gather followings and manage esports operations. The company works with partners and customers including GameStop, the Minnesota Rokkr, Duke, MIT, the Dallas Parks and Rec Department, and the Special Olympics of New York and Oregon. Co-founded by CEO Austin Smith and COO Byron Abrigg in October 2018, Mission Control closed a $1.75M seed funding round and intends to use the proceeds to expand the platform.
