Founded in 2019 by Tom Whittle, Mission develops natural functional teas and powdered superblend drinks using ingredients such as matcha, yerba mate, lion’s mane and magnesium. Products include hot and cold-brew teas and recently launched Matcha Superblend and Sleep Superblend formulations. The brand supplies its functional drinks to 12 Premier League football teams, six Formula 1 teams, more than 100 athletes and over 100,000 customers. Mission recently secured a listing for three tea SKUs in 250 Tesco stores across the UK and is preparing collaborations with Alpine, Pierre Gasly and a world top-10 tennis player. The company has reported 300% year-on-year growth and is close to £3m in annualised revenue. Its stated near-term plans include scaling customer acquisition and expanding product development.
