Mission Measurement develops proprietary methodologies and a large outcomes database to quantify social impact and help clients design better strategies. The firm is backing the Impact Genome Project, an initiative to codify the factors that lead to success across major social program categories. Mission Measurement says the project leverages its database of more than 78,000 outcome data points and analyzes programs from thousands of organizations to form an initial evidence base. The Impact Genome Project is being piloted by leading foundations and governments and is led by CEO Jason Saul and Nolan Gasser. The company states its aim is to help clients achieve twice the social impact for half the cost. Mission Measurement has offices in Chicago and Washington, DC.
