Mithila Foods produces and sells Bihar-rooted food staples including sattu, roasted chana, makhana, and katarni chuda. The company was founded in January 2025 and began operations from a warehouse in Dumka. In under five months it says it has launched over 20 SKUs, reached more than 25,000 customers, and serves across 4,000 pin codes. Mithila Foods reports crossing Rs 3 crore in annualised revenue. Its distribution channels include e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart and offline retail in tier I and tier II cities. The company plans to expand distribution, strengthen its supply chain, and introduce new product categories rooted in Bihar’s culinary heritage.
