Mo is a mobile app focused on meditation and sleep, founded by Andrei Molchanov and Alexander Gorny who come from top management at Mail.ru Group. The app's core product centers on programs to address sleep and anxiety and currently offers 23 meditation programmes, including sessions to increase productivity or prepare for important meetings. The founders launched the project two years ago and raised an earlier external investment of ₽15M a year later. Last week the company raised $1M from investors that include Mail.ru Group co-founder Dmitry Grishin and a group of business angels; deal terms and valuation were not disclosed. The team plans to add online webinars and personal trainers to the app's functionality. They also intend to scale into Scandinavian markets.
