Moab is building a cloud-based, AI-native software platform that serves as the operating system for mid-market and enterprise equipment rental and dealership operators. The product unifies dispatch, billing, accounting, fleet management, and other core workflows, delivering real-time operational insights that legacy on-premise systems cannot provide. Early customers include Axis Portable Air, Battlefield Equipment Rental, Texas First Rentals, and National Trench Safety, whose combined fleets represent billions of dollars in assets. Moab expects its platform to manage more than $2.5 billion in annual transaction volume while overseeing over $4 billion of fleet assets in the coming year. Led by CEO Charles Soll (former early PM at Uber) and CTO Patrick Anderson (former Head of Core Engineering at Ramp), the company is headquartered in New York. The newly raised capital will fund continued product development and the expansion of engineering and go-to-market teams.
