Mobi2Go builds digital ordering and engagement solutions that let hospitality businesses offer integrated, branded ordering without large upfront costs or specialised expertise. The platform powers ordering for Australasia brands including Burger Fuel, Pita Pit, Tank Juice, Mad Mex, Sumo Salad and Little Caesars Pizza. The company reports most clients drive at least 20% of their revenue through Mobi2Go within three to six months of launching. Mobi2Go plans to use the new funding to continue international growth, scale operations, and expand enterprise features as larger brands adopt the platform. The business recently closed a $5m investment round with Movac, and Punakaiki Fund participated; Punakaiki’s late-2018 $200,000 convertible note converted into shares as part of the transaction. Movac took a 21.4% stake for its $5m and Punakaiki Fund now owns 16.12%, with expected dilution from an employee share option scheme. Punakaiki also notes it had placed over $2m at an early stage and that the transaction valuation exceeds prior operating-metrics-based cross-checkes.
