mobile.dev

Overview

Mobile.dev provides a pre-production testing platform that aims to catch mobile-app issues before apps are released. The startup emerged from stealth with a beta of its solution and says its mission is to empower companies to deliver high-quality mobile applications by stopping issues before release. The product has been developed with design partners and initial customers, notably Reddit, and the company launched a year ago. Mobile.dev was founded by former Uber engineer Leland Takamine (CEO) and COO Jacob Krupski. Today the team is only the two founders, but the company plans to hire additional engineering talent and build a diverse, fully remote team. Financially, mobile.dev announced a $3 million seed investment to fund product development and growth.
