Mobile Pixels designs and sells lightweight, portable laptop monitors such as the DUEX line to extend laptop displays. The company began its journey in June 2018 with the DUO Kickstarter campaign, led by founder and CEO Jack Yao. Since then Mobile Pixels has launched six additional Kickstarter campaigns introducing products including TRIO, DUEX Plus, DUEX Lite, DUEX Max, Geminos, Trio Max, and DUEX Float. The firm raised more than $8M on Kickstarter to support current product development efforts. Proceeds from the latest crowdfunding will enable continued development of DUEX Float. Mobile Pixels is backed by MIT and Northeastern.
