Mobix Labs Inc., founded in 2020 by Fabian Battaglia, is an Irvine, Calif.-based fabless RF semiconductor company focused on the 5G mmWave wireless market. It develops tools to simplify the design of next-generation 5G wireless products and manufactures fully integrated, single-chip, single-die mmWave beamformers, antenna solutions and RF semiconductors. The company closed $10M in new funding as part of an extended seed round and previously raised $2.5M in its initial capital raise. Mobix intends to use the new funds to continue to expand its development efforts. The company also announced board additions, naming James J. Peterson as chairman and appointing Rick Goerner as a board member.
