Modulz provides a visual code editor that lets teams design, develop, document and deploy a design system without writing code. Its design-system features include Theme (reusable tokens), a production-ready component library published to NPM, and an automatically generated styleguide with component examples, code snippets, navigation and search. Modulz offers integrations to export a design system to Sketch, Figma and Framer so design teams can utilize symbols, components and styles. Each time users publish a new version of a design system from Modulz, all export targets update automatically. The company raised $4.2M in seed funding from LocalGlobe, Frontline and angel investors including Ryan Hoover, Vedika Jain, Des Traynor, Jina Anne and TinyVC. It intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
