Mojix develops wide area sensor networks and the STAR (Space Time Array Receiver) technology, first introduced in 2008, for passive RFID and wireless sensor networks. Its patented signal-processing breakthroughs enable detection and location tracking of extremely weak signals, yielding almost a million-fold improvement over legacy receiver technology. Mojix combines those sensors with cloud-based analytics and reporting to deliver real-time hands-free inventory and tracking solutions for retailers, data centers, hospitals, oil and gas companies, and manufacturers. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles and maintains offices in Frankfurt, Asia, and the United Arab Emirates. Mojix announced a $14 million Series D financing led by OMERS Ventures, with Mercury Ventures, Oak Investment Partners, and all previous investors participating. Proceeds are intended to support the introduction of software solutions for IoT applications and to scale the company's wireless sensor network offerings.
