Mojoe makes a portable coffee-maker travel mug that brews fresh coffee anywhere using its patented VacDrip process, a hybrid of drip and vacuum brewing. Users pour water into the center chamber, add grounds to a tiny filter, and push a button to initiate brewing; the mug heats water to roughly 200°F using a rechargeable 14.5 Wh lithium-ion battery. The device requires no preheated water or outlet to brew, though it can be plugged into a wall or car adapter and takes about 6–10 minutes to brew depending on water temperature. The mug holds 8.5 fl oz of coffee and can be refilled for a second cup while finishing the first. Charging takes 20–30 minutes, and the company plans to offer a three-pack battery pack for users who may be without power. Mojoe also plans to sell its own branded coffee, creamer, and sugar packs; the mug can brew tea as well.
