The platform supports a wide variety of commodities, including power, natural gas, crude and refined products, chemicals, agricultural commodities, softs, metals, and cryptocurrencies. Molecule serves commodity traders, risk managers, and operations teams at hedge funds, marketers, hedge advisors, independent power producers (IPPs), and world-scale energy and private equity firms. The company is led by founder and CEO Sameer Soleja. It recently closed a $12M Series A and intends to use the capital to further build out Elektra and to launch offerings to manage renewables credits and back-office ETRM functionality.
