Molt AI launched Fisher, a tool designed to test AI agents by tracing every tool call, data retrieval, and system write an agent makes rather than judging only final responses. The company argues that grading solely on final outputs can miss cases where an agent took an unauthorized action before producing a compliant-sounding reply. According to its self-published methodology, Fisher has run tens of thousands of adversarial test episodes across more than 20 model architectures and grades findings on a three-tier scale: exploratory, observed, and confirmed. Molt AI only labels a vulnerability as confirmed once it reproduces under a recorded replay. The company closed $1 million in pre-seed financing concurrent with Fisher's launch. Co-founder and CEO Walton Comer previously co-founded Lucid, which was acquired by Cint for roughly $1.07 billion in 2021.
