Momentum Solar provides residential solar design, engineering, permitting, installation and activation services and manages the entire customer lifecycle for qualified homeowners. The company operates in New Jersey, New York, California, Florida, Texas, Connecticut and Pennsylvania and recently moved into a new headquarters in South Plainfield, New Jersey that is four times the size of its prior facility. Leadership says the move enables Momentum to retain hundreds of jobs in New Jersey and supports plans to create 150 new jobs over the next three years. Employee counts cited in the release show the company ended 2017 with 650 employees, employs over 1,000 nationwide, and expected to reach about 1,200 by year-end.
