Moneta Health focuses on treating cognitive impairment by pairing voice-enabled artificial intelligence with licensed therapists to deliver rehabilitation sessions entirely over the phone. This approach is designed to reach patients in rural areas and other neurology deserts who struggle to access in-person care. The company is a member of StartUp Health’s Alzheimer’s Moonshot community and the NIH’s A2 Collective, underscoring its emphasis on evidence-backed solutions for brain health. Moneta recently announced a partnership with Benefis Health System to broaden its clinical footprint in underserved regions. To date, the startup has secured $6.7 million in venture backing, including a $2.2 million pre-seed round in March 2023 led by True Ventures and a new $4.5 million round. Previous investors listed across these raises include Health2047, Impact America Fund, BKR Capital, Koru, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, and CABHI. The fresh capital will fund further expansion of its remote cognitive-care platform and scale its therapist network.
