Moondog Animation Studio is a Mount Pleasant, South Carolina–based studio that creates, fabricates and distributes computer-generated animation content for both adults and children. Led by CEO Bryan Ransom, the company is starting development of its first feature film. The project is expected to bring over 150 highly technical jobs to South Carolina. To support hiring, Moondog is partnering with Clemson University's Digital Design program to recruit recent graduates. The studio received a $250K investment from SCRA Technology Ventures' SC Launch and intends to use the funds to continue to grow operations.
