Moonhub has built an AI-driven recruiting platform that aggregates billions of public web data points and applies an AI layer to surface candidates who would be missed by keyword-based search. The company currently operates with a handful of in-house recruiters using the platform to place talent for clients. Later this year Moonhub plans to launch an external-facing search tool that accepts natural-language queries so hiring managers and recruiters can discover thousands of qualified candidates. Moonhub says its approach helps surface more diverse candidates and democratize access to opportunity. The early-stage company already has dozens of customers and 15 employees. The founder and CEO, Nancy Xu, developed the idea while studying for a computer science PhD at Stanford.
