Mooshimeter is a hardware-plus-app digital multimeter that connects to smartphones via Bluetooth LE to display real-time graphs and measurements on the phone’s larger color screen. The device supports wireless testing up to about 150 feet and is designed to let users monitor multiple signals on a single display. Mooshimeter uses a 24-bit ADC, offering up to seven digits of resolution (commonly 5–6 noise-free digits), and includes a microSD slot supporting up to 32GB for long-term data logging. By offloading the display and interface to a smartphone, the makers increased measurement resolution and added graphing and logging features without a built-in display. The product remains a prototype but has been tested by a network of testers and is being brought to market via crowdfunding.
