IH1 is an equity holding company launched by the Turin-based Mamazen startup studio that invests capital into startups created by the studio. Founded in 2021, IH1 uses Mamazen’s dual-entity startup-studio model to validate ideas and accelerate company creation. The firm plans to deploy capital into new portfolio companies and has recently backed Pelomatto and Parrucchierefacile.it. IH1 has set a goal of raising €10 million over five years (including €3 million in Mamazen) to fund future launches. Financially, IH1 closed a funding round totaling €3.65 million (building on a €1.65 million first close and €750,000 previously raised by Mamazen) and has already invested in startups such as Morsy (€250,000) and Inpoi (€150,000). The team is led by Mamazen CEO Farhad Alessandro Mohammadi alongside experienced entrepreneurs and investors.
