Mosea Technologies is a Toronto-based payments startup that operates a social payments app enabling instant money transfers between friends. The app provides bill-splitting tools for large groups and lets users create campaigns to sell event tickets. The platform is used across Canadian university campuses by school clubs, groups, and organizations. The company is led by CEO Luke de Haas alongside Colin Lee and Aidan Tighe. Mosea raised $2.5M in Seed funding in a round whose backers were not disclosed. The company says it will use the funds to accelerate expansion and introduce its app to new users across Canada.
