Overview
Mosyle offers a mobile device management (MDM) platform for Apple devices that combines device management, endpoint security, internet privacy, and identity and application management across macOS, iOS and tvOS. The company recently launched Apple Unified Platform for Business, which adds antivirus/antimalware, remote wipe/lock, shared device and privileged account management, encrypted DNS web filtering, and SSO with two-factor authentication. Mosyle also enables remote deployment, updating and management of compatible apps regardless of App Store availability. The product suite targets education and enterprise IT needs amid growing BYOD and hybrid work trends. The company reports $215 million in cash, 32,000 customers, over 100 employees, and "triple digit" revenue growth since 2020. Management says the new funding will support growth and fuel innovation around its Apple-focused platform. Mosyle provides mobile device management (MDM) solutions to help technology teams manage iPad, iPhone, Mac and Apple TV devices, simplify technology adoption, and redesign workflows. The company’s flagship K–12 product, Mosyle Manager, has been deployed in 8,500 schools and serves over 1.5 million teachers and students across every U.S. state and more than 70 countries since its launch in April 2016. Mosyle is introducing Mosyle Business to extend its MDM offering to businesses of any size and market, building on the Manager platform. Key product features include scalable over-the-air management for iOS, macOS and tvOS devices; remote setup and zero-touch configuration; cloud-based inventory; monitoring, reports and alerts; streamlined license management; management profiles and time-based policies; and a cost-effective subscription model. Led by CEO Alcyr Araujo, the company intends to use new funding to accelerate expansion into the enterprise market. The company recently closed a $16M Series A financing.
