Mother Science is a skin-care brand known for its Molecular Hero Serum, which features the breakthrough ingredient malassezin. The company closed a US$3.5 million funding round to support R&D, further innovation, product launches and team growth. Greycroft led the round and will place partner Katherine Power on Mother Science’s board. Power, founder of Merit Beauty, Versed Skincare and Avaline Wine, said she has followed Mother Science since its early stages and praised malassezin’s transformative effects. The company plans to use the capital to expand its team and accelerate product development and launches. Ann Marie and Michael were named in statements as partners Power will work with to drive the company’s vision forward.
