Motion AI provides a flowchart-style, no-code bot-building platform that guides users through creating bot flows and deploying them to Facebook, Slack, SMS, email, the web, and other channels. Its core innovation is modular “bot modules” that package common bot logic (Yes/No, multiple choice, integrations) to speed development; a modules store was planned to launch in about a month. The service also handles infrastructure (SMS/email delivery) and connects to third-party tools such as Zapier, IFTTT, Wit.ai, Api.ai, Zendesk, and Groove, plus offers analytics and reporting on bot usage. Motion AI emerged from several months of private testing, attracted over 7,500 people to its closed beta waitlist after a Product Hunt debut, and counts several large companies experimenting with the platform, including a national health care customer using it for patient triage. In December the company raised a $700,000 seed round; the team comprises four employees.
