Motovis is a Shanghai-headquartered autonomous driving startup that provides automakers with multiple levels of automation solutions, including advanced driving assistance systems, autonomous parking, auto valet parking, autonomous emergency braking, traffic jam pilot, driver status monitoring, and blind-spot detection. The company has recorded 100,000 orders for its solutions and has set a three-year target of 1 million orders. Motovis raised RMB 100 million (about US$14 million) in a Series A2 round. The company said the new funds will be used for R&D, mass production, and market expansion. Investors in the round included Nantong Shengshi Jinhao Investment Management Company Limited, Orca Capital, and Boxin Capital.
