Move Smart, founded by father-and-son team Paulo and Juan Leite in Paraná, builds autonomous mobile robots capable of moving loads from 100 kg to two tonnes without fixed infrastructure such as tracks or magnetic tapes. The hardware is paired with the company’s own Nexus fleet-management platform and Smart Care predictive-maintenance module, enabling real-time monitoring and remote failure detection. Move Smart positions local after-sales service as a key differentiator versus imported solutions, addressing a common pain point for Brazilian manufacturers that purchase foreign robots. Its technology was co-developed with researchers from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina and the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná. Commercial efforts initially target pallet loading and internal material handling in factories and distribution centers, and the startup already serves a packaging-sector client in Londrina. Proceeds from the current raise will fund team expansion, internal training, and governance improvements, setting the stage for a larger round in the near future.
