MOVO operates an e-scooter and moped sharing platform offering short-distance urban mobility. Founded in 2017 as a subsidiary of Cabify, it currently operates in Spain, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Peru. The company emphasizes cooperation with municipal governments and support for policy development in the cities where it runs services. MOVO plans to increase its fleet across Latin America and be present in 10 countries by the end of this year. The company will use new funding to expand operations in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. CEO Pedro Rivas said the company aims to complement mass public transport with sustainable micromobility alternatives.
