MultiMechanics develops virtual testing software—TRUE Multiscale™—that models and predicts stresses and crack propagation at multiple scales to reduce physical prototyping and testing. The TRUE Multiscale technology was developed over six years and visualizes failure across scales simultaneously. The platform targets industries including composites, polymers, 3D printing, automotive, aerospace, energy and applications in biotech and pharmaceuticals. The company raised $1.9M in seed funding to support its growth. MultiMechanics plans to use the funds to grow its engineering team, advance its product development pipeline, and expand its position in the commercial marketplace. The investment follows a partnership with Solvay to model complex composite structures used in automotive and aerospace applications.
