MultiOmic Health builds a precision therapeutics discovery platform (MOHSAIC®) targeting metabolic syndrome-related diseases. The MOHSAIC® platform combines integrated multi-omics analysis and computational systems biology modeling with targeted wet laboratory experiments to originate novel precision therapeutic concepts. The company partners with selected healthcare providers to source and analyze de-identified patient data and bio-samples, originating therapeutics from high-fidelity patient data rather than traditional lab-first approaches. Proceeds from the recent financing will be used to demonstrate proof-of-concept for the platform in diabetic kidney disease. MultiOmic began operations in May 2021 and has raised a total of US$8.6 million to date, including the £5.0 million seed extension. The company plans to commercialize its precision therapeutic concepts via partnerships with established biopharma companies.
