Multiply is a London-based automated independent financial advice service that leverages machine learning to provide advice across mortgages, investments, savings and other personal finance areas. The company was co-founded in 2016 by Vivek Madlani and Mike Curtis. Multiply raised £1.75m in funding to continue development and roll out its product. The round was led by Octopus Ventures, which invested £1m, with participation from Portag3 Ventures, Entrepreneur First, Nick Hungerford, Taavet Hinrikus, Peter Rading, Michael Orland and Toby Moore. The company intends to use the funds for continued development and the roll-out of the product. Subject to FCA authorization, Multiply will officially launch its offering later this year.
